Martha Ann Carroll

Martha Ann Carroll was born on April 6, 1946 in McNairy County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late JT Hamm and Evalene Younger Carroll-Davidson.

On December 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ancle Jimmy Carroll, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2017. 

Martha worked at Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Grays Chapel Church. In her spare time, Martha enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Martha Ann Carroll departed this life on May 9, 2024 in Bath Springs, Tennessee at the age of 78 years, 1 month, and 3 days.

She is survived by her sons Keith Carroll and wife Kay, Steven Carroll and wife Carolyn of Bath Springs Tennessee, daughter Melissa Bailey and companion Anthony Millner of Scotts Hill,  Tennessee: brothers Ricky and Randy Carroll; sisters  Patsy Rushing and Mary Jo Stone; grandchildren Samantha Wood and husband Mark Wood; Bryan Carroll and wife Maranda; Stephanie Hendrix and husband Adam; Ryan Bailey and wife Tiffany; Dylan Bailey, and Daniel Bailey and great grandchildren Amber Hendrix, Alicia Overman, Mackenzie McCormick, Theo Hendrix, MaLeigha McCormick, Chloe Hendrix,  Aubrey Mayo, Camden Carroll, Avery Bailey, Dalton Bailey, and Knox Bailey; and  great great grandchildren Jadalyn Hendrix, Briley Webster, Jaycee Hendrix, Breonna Overman, Brayden Overman, Hunter Hendrix, and Blaire Overman.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her step father, Haskell Carroll; brothers, Billy Wayne Carroll and Joel Wayne Carroll; and sisters, Barbara Caye Melton, Janice Faye Carroll, and Rebecca Carroll.
