Martha Daly Obituary
Martha Jane (Hammons) Daly, 77, of Florence passed away on January 22, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood, Kentucky after a long illness.
Martha was born on December 12, 1946, in Covington, Kentucky to Dewey and Leona (Fightmaster) Hammons. She worked as a medical secretary for over 45 years for various local doctors, but for the last 25 years of her career was a part of Commonwealth Orthopedics in Edgewood (now OrthoCincy).
Martha was a past member of Ludlow Baptist Church, Florence Baptist Church, and Greenview Baptist Church where she made many good friends over the years.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years (June 1, 1968), Clifford E. Daly; daughter Melissa Jane, and a host of loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, and nine siblings – Helen, Bud, Leo, Harold, Charlie, Bill, Edwin, Nancy, and Eugene.
Per Martha’s request, no visitation or services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the charity of your choice.
Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow, is serving the family.
