Martha Bentley Durham
Martha Bentley Durham, age 90, of Easley, passed away on January 21, 2026.
She was born on January 9, 1936 to Frank and Annie McConnell Bentley in Marietta, SC. Martha owned and operated Bobby D’s Variety and Pawn in Easley with her husband, Robert, for over 20 years. She was a dedicated member of Jones Hill Church of God, founded by her grandmother, Janie Attaway McConnell. Martha loved sewing and reading her Bible every day. She was known as a gentle, tenacious, determined, selfless woman who loved her family.
Martha is survived by her son, Keith Durham (Sheila); her daughter, Karen Lee Jones (Greg); her grandchildren, Caroline Kennedy (Aaron), Jacob Durham and, Wesley Durden; her great-grandchildren, Andrew Sloan, and Abram Kennedy; her sister, Barbara Riggins; and a dear friend, Debbie Nalley.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Truman Durham, Jr.; her grand-daughter, Amanda Lam; her brother, Jimmy Bentley; and her sister, Nancy Edgar.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Jones Hill Church of God, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the church.
Burial will take place in the Jones Hill Church of God Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jones Hill Church of God at 1014 Dalton Rd, Marietta, SC 29661.
