Martha M. Dwyer, age 73, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. A long-term North Dighton resident, Martha is survived by her husband James Dwyer, her son Brendan Dwyer and his wife Sarita Dwyer, and her daughter Bethany Torres and her husband Jimmy Torres. She was the grandmother of two beautiful and spirited grandsons, Freddy and Owen. She was also the stepmother to five wonderful stepchildren: Edward, Jeannine, Michelle, Kevin, and Michael. She had a love for God that was unmatched. She was an undeniably devoted wife and the absolute best mom anyone could ask for. Always a believer in miracles, angels and signs from the universe and was an expert in numerology. She loved going to the movies, especially the fancy ones with the comfy seats. Whenever she looked-for four-leaf clovers, she would always find at least one. She had a phenomenal sense of humor and loved to laugh. You could usually find her watching her favorite shows…Murder She Wrote, I Love Lucy, Matlock…or working on her crosswords to keep her mind sharp. Ever the optimist, she could almost always put a positive spin on anything and that positivity was infectious. She was a multi-faceted, unique, sparkling soul and will be missed so very much, but we will love her always, just as she loved us. 333.
