Martha Alicia Espinoza, 57, entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Martha is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Cruz Espinoza, and their two daughters: Micaela Vargas (Juan), Brenda Espinoza (Margaret Grace Johnson), all of Harlingen, and her three grandchildren; Alyssa Vargas, Juan Vargas, Jr., and Lee Flores. She is also survived by four siblings; Jaime Galindo, Ana Galindo, Juan Jesus Galindo (Chuy), and Saul Galindo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Natividad Galindo.
Martha's love for her family was boundless. She enjoyed many things in life, including shopping, hosting cookouts at home, and spending quality time with those she held dear. Her strength and resilience were evident throughout her life, and she fought until the very end. Martha will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:00 pm at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Angels in Harlingen. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:00 am, with Brother Hoss Alvarez officiating. Burial will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery in Harlingen.
Pallbearers will be Jaime Galindo, Juan Galindo, Saul Galindo, Juan Vargas, Jr., Juan Galindo, Jr., and Matthew Lopez.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen.
