Martha "Dee" Dalphine Eubanks, 82, of Cleveland, TN, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2024. She was born on July 3, 1941, in Birmingham, Alabama to Reverend T.G. Pearson and Masie V. Pearson. Martha, also known as Dee, was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Dee is survived by her son John (Melanie) Eubanks. She was known as “Mamaw” by her grandchildren Chad (Sheri) Eubanks, Ashley Hawkins, and Caleb (Emily) Eubanks, as well as her great-grandchildren Sierra Eubanks, Trinity Bowie, Alyssa Eubanks, Grace Hicks, Benjamin Eubanks, Isabelle Hawkins, Levi Hawkins, and Maverick Eubanks.She was preceded in death by her father Thurman G. Pearson, her mother Masie V. Pearson, her husband John Eubanks and her brother Philip Pearson.


Dee pursued her higher education at Lee University and graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School. She dedicated her career to Lee University, where she made a lasting impact.


Services for Dee will be held at Poole Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 12:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. The funeral home assisting with the arrangements is Poole Funeral Home.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Martha “Dee'' Eubanks' honor. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
