Cumberland – Martha E. (Hirsch) Felber, 63, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Karl Felber, DO, for thirty-six beautiful years. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Robert F., Sr. and Gwendoline (Dale) Hirsch.
Martha graduated from North Attleboro High School and continued her studies at Rhode Island College where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She worked as a registered nurse for many years at several local hospitals, and most recently alongside her husband at his practice, Armistice Urgent Care, Pawtucket. Martha enjoyed skiing, being at the beach and spending time with her family, which was the single most important part of her life. Her direct nature, smile and presence will be greatly missed by the lives she has touched during her short time with us.
Besides her devoted husband, she is survived by two beloved children, Tess Bohenko and her husband, Greg, of Winchester, MA, and Dr. Andrew "Drew" Felber and his wife, Jacqueline, of Branford, CT; two adoring granddaughters, Alexis and Isabella; three siblings, Robert Hirsch, Jr., Elizabeth James and Dale Barth; her beloved cat, Lola, and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Frank "Thom" Hirsch and Elaine Padula.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 27th, beginning with visitation at 2:00 p.m. and concluding with Services at 4:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment with her late parents in Newell Burying Ground, Attleboro, will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Susan G. Komen Foundation, 13770 Noel Rd., Ste. 801889, Dallas, TX 75380 would be appreciated. Online condolences welcomed at www.trippfuneralhome.com
