Martha Lee Haddix, 87, of Elk Garden, passed away on June 24, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on March 13, 1936, in Elk Garden, she was the daughter of the late Teddy and Mary Ellen (Blackburn) Paugh.
Martha was a proud homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, watching the birds, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her seven children, Diane Moore and husband Johnny of Keyser, Donna Harvey and husband Elvis of Elk Garden, Barbara Paugh and companion Irwin of Elk Garden, Doris Summerfield of Elk Garden, Mary Lambka and husband Mark of Elk Garden, John Haddix and wife Mandy of New Creek, and Delbert Haddix and companion Jessica of Elk Garden; fifteen grandchildren, Michael and wife Crystal, Stephanie, Jeromy, Hailey, Autumn, MaryAnne and husband Ray, Melissa and husband Kenny, Melinda, Brenda, Johnny, Eric and wife Olivia, Mark and wife Ashley, Matthew, Alicia and husband Jonathan, and Misty and husband Randolph; twenty-six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; two siblings, Daisy Jones and Kelvin Paugh; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, Herman, Roy, Randolph, and Norman; and a son-in-law, Johnny Summerfield.
Friends will be received Monday, June 26, 2023, from 5 to 8 PM at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 12 PM, in the funeral home with Pastor Greg Mooreland officiating. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
