Martha “Louise” Huckstep, 88, Plainfield, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2025. She was born in North Salem IN, to the late Pearl (Worrell) and Virgil Mitchell.
She attended North Salem High School. She worked for more than 25 years at Abstract & Title Company as an Admin Assistant. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church.
Louise was married to Lyell Huckstep for 69 years.
Survivors include her husband Lyell Huckstep of Plainfield. Son Steven Huckstep (Marsha) of Plainfield. Granddaughter Trisha Johnson of Plainfield, and 2 great grandchildren, Colbie and Huckston Johnson of Plainfield
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers Gene, Leon and Darrell Mitchell.
Indiana Funeral Care is handling cremation arrangements.
