Lyons, GA –
Martha Earlene “Precious” Johnson, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Oxley Park Health & Rehab in Lyons following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 28, 1945, to the late Bill Johnson and Vertie Lee Nelson. A devoted Christian, she lived a life of gratitude for the love, comfort, and countless blessings she received from God. Martha found joy in cooking, cleaning, and spending cherished time with her family, which were her greatest labors of love. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Darlene Johnson; three sisters, Betty Jean Johnson, Rosetta Johnson, and Franzella Nelson; five brothers, Edward Frazier, Wilbert Frazier, Richard Frazier, Bobby Jean Johnson, and Robert Nelson; two grandchildren, Renea Bullard, and Terrell Robinson
Martha leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: two sons, Gary Robinson, Sr. and Alfonso Johnson; daughter, Mary Helen Robinson; sister, Carolyn J. Brown; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Brown, Cornellus Bullard, Melvin Robinson, Monique Williams, Gary Robinson, Jr., Russell Robinson, Sr., Ratonya Robinson, Jermaine Robinson.; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends made along life’s journey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial.
A Homegoing Celebration will be conducted on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 364 East Grady Avenue, Lyons, GA 30436. Elder Calvin Burns, Jr. will preside, and Rev. Alfredie McLeod will deliver God’s message.
Pallbearers will be Jermaine Robinson, Jahquavis Robinson, Jamar Robinson, Jahiem Robinson, Malik Robinson, and Reginald Williams, Jr.
Interment will follow in Macon Cemetery.
Low Country Cremation & Burial is honored to serve the Johnson family during this time of sorrow.
