Martha Lafay Keyton

Funeral services for Martha Lafay Keyton, age 78, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Oaky Grove Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Dr. Tom Akins, Rev. Harry Hadden, and Mr. Jamey Toler will officiate.
Mrs. Keyton was born August 28, 1946, in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Gaston Lowell Powell and Velma Dean Tanner Powell. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Powell Kyzer. She was a retired secretary at Johnson County High School. She was a member of Oaky Grove Church. Mrs. Keyton passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Keyton is survived by her husband, James Keyton of Wrightsville; a son, Tim (Lisa) Keyton of Wrightsville; a daughter, Susan (Gregg) Oliver of Wrightsville; a brother, Thomas (Debra) Powell of East Dublin; a sister-in-law, Patsy Keyton Poss of Forsyth; a brother-in-law, Billy Oliver of Macon; 4 grandchildren, Amanda (Quentin) Blue, Ashley (Todd) May, Lane Oliver, and Logan Oliver; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Dye, Quentin Blue, Todd May, Logan Thompson, Trey Toler, and Loran Kyzer.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Oaky Grove Church.
