Martha was born and raised in Mississippi. As a young girl, she was fun loving and loved to frolic in the country. Being somewhat of a beautiful tomboy and full of adventure. Her family soon would take their roots to the north. There her father pursued a career in Michigan with the Ford Motor Company. She soon met Gerald; they married and was delighted to be a homemaker and mother of four daughters. She also in turn worked at Ford Truck Plant in Wayne, Michigan. She retired from Ford and moved to Morrison, TN. in 2003. She fell in love with being in Tennessee and spending time going home to see family in Michigan.

She loved birds, her dog Lucy, sewing and gardening. No matter where you met Martha, you would be greeted with a smile and kindness. Her manners were outstanding enough to be remembered. She lived by the golden rule. Ms. Lincoln was a member of the Baptist Church, was a Christian and loved the Lord.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Michigan.
