Martha Palitto Obituary
Martha was born on November 8, 1926, in Kenmore, Ohio, to the late Paul and Helen (Radovic) Oberdove. She married John C. Palitto on January 5, 1946, in Akron. John preceded her in death on November 2, 2003.
She devoted her life to her family and worked as a homemaker.
Martha was a longtime member of the Akron Apostolic Christian Church.
Surviving are her four children: Ronald C. (Lynell) Palitto of Wadsworth; Carolyn (Randall) Miller of Rittman; Mark Palitto of Parrish, FL; and Patricia Kutcher of Wadsworth. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren-Bryon, Michael, Victoria, John, Joseph, Carla, Angela, Christina, Mark, and Johnathan-as well as many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her husband John, she was preceded in death her great grandson, Joseph Schar; brother, Albert Oberdove, and sisters, Emily Oberdove, and Vera Bishop.
Friends may call on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, and again from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at Akron Apostolic Christian Church, 2360 S. Medina Line Rd., Wadsworth, with Ministers of the Church officiating. Burial will follow at Akron Apostolic Church Cemetery in Wadsworth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Apostolic Christian Village, 10680 Steiner Rd., Rittman, OH 44270.
Auble-Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is handling the arrangements. Online registry and expressions of condolence may be made at www.gillmanfuneralhome.com.
