Martha Ann Rose, affectionately known as Shirley, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, in her hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on August 26, 1950, Martha was a vibrant spirit whose laughter and love will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.
A proud graduate of Roosevelt High School, Martha dedicated a significant portion of her life to her career as an Administrative Secretary for the Scottish Rite Hospital, where her bubbly personality and energetic spirit endeared her to colleagues and patients alike. She was not just a professional but a beacon of affection and kindness, remembered for her sassy humor and stylish flair.
Martha was a passionate lover of music and dance, often bringing joy to family gatherings with her lively spirit. Her fondness for family functions and dining at Pappadeaux showcased her love for creating cherished memories with her loved ones. Each moment spent with her was a celebration of life, filled with joy and laughter.
Her family meant the world to her, and she took immense pride in her accomplishments, particularly her children and grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. As a mother and grandmother, her affection knew no bounds, and she made every effort to nurture and support her family, instilling in them values of love and happiness.
Martha's vibrant personality and devoted nature leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be lovingly remembered for the warmth she brought into this world, her infectious energy, and the beautiful memories she created with those she adored.
A viewing will be held in her honor on September 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. A funeral service celebrating her life will take place the following day, September 27, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, also in Dallas.
Martha Ann Rose will forever be remembered as a loving, passionate soul who brightened the lives of everyone around her.
