Martha Jane "Marcy" Russell

Martha (Marcy) Jane Russell, 84, passed from this life to an eternal life with Jesus on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at her home. She was a faithful Christian and attended Sevier Heights Baptist Church. In addition to spending time with family, Marcy enjoyed shopping with Donna and Dyann, visiting with friends, and just riding around. She loved to travel and went on many trips and tours over the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Buddy) Russell of 38 years, sister, Agnes Ophasene Robinson and brother, Charles Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Tollie) Mullins, sister, Dyann Mize, Grandchildren, Jordan (Kylie) Mullins, Jonathan (Joanna) Mullins and Allison (Mike) Shepherd. Great-Grandchildren, Harrison and Brooks Mullins and Arabella and Micaela Shepherd, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her husband, Carl Greenway, and his children. The family would like to thank NHC Farragut for the great care she received and to Caris Healthcare who were wonderful with their loving care for Marcy at home. Also, to Sasha and Tanya, her caregivers, for many months at home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday August 6, 2025, at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. The family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Thursday August 7, 2025, at Beech Springs Cemetery (Kodak, TN) for an 11:00 am graveside service.
