Martha Shook Obituary
Martha Jean Shook, age 88, passed away on November 9, 2023 at Aultman Compassionate Care.
She was born on August 2, 1935, in Canton, to Carl G. and Helen (Smoke) Waltz.
Martha graduated from Alliance High School in 1953. She worked as a secretary for American Steel Foundries. Martha was a member of Beechwood Christian Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gerald Shook, whom she married November 22, 1961; and her cousins, Karen Hiscox, Linda Smoke Green, Gary Waltz, Linda Waltz and Roger Smoke.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Grace Dennis Waltz; and her twin sister, Mary J. Morgan.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
