Obituary of Martha Ann Snodgrass

Martha A. Snodgrass, 76, of Ruffsdale died peacefully on Thursday February 19, 2026 at Independence Westmoreland Hospital. Martha was born July 28, 1949 in Monongahela to the late Imrich and Anna Kvartek Palla.

Martha was a graduate of Bentworth High School class of 1967 and Penn Commercial Business School. She worked as an administrative assistant at W&J College, Scottdale Chamber of Commerce, and up until her passing at Reunion Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed cooking, baking, organizing a good party, and especially spending time with her family. Her cookie tables were legendary, and she loved being surrounded by her group of lifelong friends.

Martha is survived by her loving family, her husband of nearly 56 years, Stanley L. Snodgrass; her son, Ryan Snodgrass (Katie); her grandchildren, Anna and Lucas Snodgrass; and by her nieces and nephews. She held a special place in so many of their hearts. She loved being Aunt Martha. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Edward Palla.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday February 25 th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 26 th at 11:00 a.m. at the Reunion Presbyterian Church,769 West Main Street, Mt. Pleasant PA, 15666 with Rev. Susan Washburn, officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church social hall. A private interment will be held in Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Twp.
