Martha Ann Stacy of Hughes Springs was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Bascom Beasley and Editha Cleo on August 14, 1937. She was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2024.
She was a seamstress who enjoyed making beautiful quilts. She also used her talents to make clothing for her children. Making her passion a career, she opened and owned Stacy's Sewing Shop.
She was a long-time member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Hughes Springs. She was a spirited person who always found unique ways to love her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bascom Beasley and Editha Cleo; husband, Victor Weldon Stacy; brother, Charles Beasley; sister, Linda Beasley Davis. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Victor Wayne Stacy and wife, Jenny, Karen Beliew Grey and husband, Rob, Margaret Thompson; brother, James Lamar Beasley; brother-in-law, Jewel Stacy; sister-in-law, Betty Stacy; grandchildren, Charles Brown, Dewayne Brown, Christina Cartledge, Heather Clifton, Justin Cartledge; and numerous great grandchildren.
Services have been entrusted to Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home on Saturday, May 11, 2024. The family will receive friends one our prior. Interment will take place at Daingerfield, Cemetery.
