A private memorial service for Martha Bonnie Strohauer, 82 of Dime Box, Texas, are scheduled for a later date.

Martha was born on April 24, 1943, in New York to Leo Parsell and Beatrice (Marrison) Parsell. Martha married the love of her life Charles Arthur Strohauer on March 5,1960 in New York. Together they were blessed with four children, Samual, Michael, Tammy and Tracy. Growing up she was known as her father's tom boy. She started off working at Wind Smith making airplane valves and later she owned and operated her own cleaning business called "Strohauer Housekeeping" for forty years. She loved to cook, play bingo, garden, cleaning, camping, loved to travel the United States with their motorcycle club, and spend time with family.

Martha passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Monday, February 2, 2026, at her home in Dime Box, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo Parsell and Beatrice (Morrison) Parsell; and her five siblings.

Martha is survived by her husband, Charles Arthur Strohauer of Dime Box; children, Samual Strohauer of Florida, Michael Strohauer of New York, Tammy Strohauer of Dime Box, Tracy and husband Gordon Countryman of Missouri; grandchildren, Charles Countryman of Conroe, Leah Countryman, Joshua Countryman, Matthew Countryman, Brandon Countryman of Missouri, Gabrielle Strohauer of New York; three great grandchildren; sister, Anita and husband James Mardino of New York; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to MD Cancer Center or the charity of ones choice.
