Martha Takach Obituary
Mrs. Takach was born on April 11, 1928, in New Martinsville, Marshall County, WV, a daughter of Samuel and Blanche (Palmer) Mason. She married Michael S. Takach, Sr. on February 14, 1947.
Martha was a member of the Church of Christ at Struthers for over 70 years. She loved her church and adored her husband. She was talented musically and played many musical instruments, including the banjo. She also enjoyed 'country sings' – friendly get-togethers to sing and play her instruments. She was an expert at crocheting and making doilies.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her sons David of North Lima, Michael of Columbus, and Charles and his wife Teri of Leetonia, and her brother Richard (Marge) Mason of Columbiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael, who passed away on December 3, 2000, sister Mary Ann Knowles and brother Robert Mason.
Private services were held, and the burial was at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
