Martha Ann Rogers Wayman

Martha Ann (Roger) Wayman, age 91, of Independence, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Rosedale Green in Latonia, KY.

Martha was a homemaker in every sense of the word, taking great pride in her home and, most importantly, in her family. She was known for her laid-back, easygoing nature and her quiet loyalty-especially when it came to her boys and grandsons, whom she never gave away. Her steady presence and gentle spirit were a constant source of comfort to those who knew and loved her.

She enjoyed listening to the music of her era, square dancing, traveling, and spending meaningful time with her family. Martha held a deep and abiding faith, and in her final days, she looked forward with peace to being reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Aaron Wayman, and her son, Mike Wayman, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Wayman (Debi) and David Wayman (Diane); daughter-in-law, Charlotte Wayman; grandchildren, Blake Wayman (Sara), Cort Wayman (Nicole), Brett Wayman (Zhanna), Tyler Wayman (Emily), Chad Wayman (Chelsea), Zachary Wayman, and Brandon Wayman (Cassidy); as well as seventeen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 p.m., at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Pastor Mike Jones will officiate. Martha will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery in Independence, KY.
