Our beloved Martie Ann Ray Gabriel, age 61 of Waco. Georgia entered into eternal peace on November 23, 2024. She was born October 3, 1963, in Fulton County, Georgia, to Edward Earl Ray and Novean Alzeda Frost Ray.
We bid farewell to a beloved family member and true friend. She was a beacon of light in our lives, who departed from this world all too soon. Martie left behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. She walked through life with an unmatched, yet gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with an unforgettable grace.
Martie had a beautiful and loving heart for all who loved her. Family was her entire world, especially those sweet grandbabies of hers. She was there when we needed her and always kept us laughing. Martie enjoyed art, drawing and painting, finding endless ways to be creative, nature and the simple things in life. Martie will remain deeply in our hearts forever, and she will be severely missed.
Her surviving family members include daughter, Tiffany Ray Teasdale and her husband Greg; their children, Lane & Zander; son Joseph Veach and his wife Bridgett; their children, Connor, Asher, Alayna, Hannah, Emily, Jasper, Jaxson & Jag; sister and brother in law, Jane and Al Wallace; brother, Eddie Ray; sister, Joan Kimball; as well as her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Earl Ray, and mother Novean Alzeda Frost Ray.
Cremation services will be provided by Miller Funeral Home and no formal services are planned at this time.
