Martin L. Darrow

Martin "Marty" Darrow, a lifelong resident of the Susquehanna County area, passed away suddenly at his home in New Milford, PA, on Saturday, September 27, 2025. He was 66 years old. Born in Montrose, PA, on December 6, 1958, Martin was the son of Lewis E. Darrow and the late Sandra (Sherwood) Darrow. After graduating from high school, Martin dedicated many years to his work as a Machine Operator for International Paper at their Conklin, NY location. Martin had a deep and abiding love for nature. He found great peace and joy being outdoors, spending countless hours watching the local wildlife-the birds, squirrels, deer, and even the occasional bear-that frequented his backyard. Martin is survived by his father, Lewis E. Darrow, of New Milford; and his significant other, Donna Darrow. He was a loving father to four children: Janelle (Darrow) Fox and her husband Joel, Josh Darrow and his girlfriend Kierstin, Stacey Darrow, and Austin Darrow. He was a cherished grandfather to Taylor Hall and her husband Riley, and Sophia and Nora Fox. A private memorial gathering for the immediate family will be held at a later date.
