Martin Keller Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 5, 2025.
Martin J. Keller Jr., of Sterling Heights, MI, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Elaine M. Keller. Marty was the beloved father of six children, cherished "Gramps" to eight grandchildren, and proud great-grandfather to four. He was also a dearly loved brother, uncle, and friend to many, with deep ties to his extended family of siblings, nieces, nephews, and their children. Marty had a long and successful career at General Dynamics as a Project Manager in the tank division, a role that took him around the world. Throughout his career, he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of colleagues near and far. He retired at age 60 to enjoy winters in Florida, travel, golf, and-most importantly-spend time with his grandchildren. You could always find him on the baseball field being the biggest fan and supporter. Marty loved life and the people in it. He had a passion for golf, playing cards, baseball, and striking up conversations with anyone who would listen. He made friends wherever he went, always ready with a story or a "dad joke." His sense of humor, smile and laughter were among his most memorable traits. He especially loved the holidays-dressing up to greet trick-or-treaters on Halloween, carving the largest turkey he could fit in the oven at Thanksgiving, and celebrating Christmas with a heart of joy and love. Marty will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of laughter, love, and generosity will live on in our hearts forever.
