Martin David Proctor, a beloved figure in the hearts of those who knew him, was born on July 5, 1936, and peacefully departed this world on December 3, 2024. His life, rich with intellect and spirit, was a testament to the values he cherished and the connections he nurtured.
Martin was an exceptionally sharp man, whose intelligence shone brightly throughout his life. He possessed a passionate interest in genealogy, dedicating countless hours to unraveling the threads of his family history. This pursuit not only enriched his own understanding but also served as a bridge connecting him to his loved ones, sharing the stories and legacies that shaped their heritage.
Known for his steadfast presence in the home, Martin found comfort in the familiar tones of Fox News, which often played in the background as he engaged with his hobbies and family. His days were punctuated with the uplifting sounds of his Bible on his phone, a practice that brought him solace and guidance.
A proud member of the Masons, Martin embraced the values of brotherhood and community service, reflecting his belief in the importance of connection and support among peers. His engagement in this fraternity was just one of many ways he extended his care and wisdom beyond the walls of his own home.
However, nothing brought Martin as much joy as the moments spent with his cherished grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as "Grandy." Their laughter and presence filled his days with warmth, and he delighted in sharing stories and creating lasting memories that would be treasured by all. The love he had for them was boundless, a beacon of light that illuminated his life.
