Martin Ray Smith

Martin Ray Smith, age 63, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Visitation to be held at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mr. Smith was born in Logan County, KY, on February 13, 1963, to the late John Martin Smith and Della Belle Haley Smith. He was a Christian man and worked as a mechanic for both Murphy Trucking and Tillman Trucking. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two sisters, Judy Thompson and Mary Stokes.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Geraldine Smith of Hopkinsville; his son, Ronnie Mann of Cadiz; his daughter, Stephanie Wolfe of Bowling Green, KY; his two stepsons, Jeremy Tillman of Hopkinsville and Derrick (Kenslie) Tillman of Hopkinsville; his stepdaughter, Lee Ann (Chris) Vaughn of Russellville, KY; his sister, Nancy (Danny) Shoemake of Auburn, KY; and his eleven grandchildren, Gabrielle, Harmoni, Dakota, Jashiya, Branson, Chaxton, Thea, Nixon, Ellie, Rowan, and Macey.
