Rest in Peace Marty. Life is shorter than we realize. Memories of growing up together as friends always puts a smile on my face. Gone today, but never to be forgotten.

I just got word about Marty's passing. This is shocking news to me. Marty and I grew up together, and I have a lot of memories involving him. When we were younger kids, we hung out in his pool quite a bit. I also remember playing ping pong in his basement and listening to records. We were close friends for years, but as we got older, our paths separated. I last saw Marty at my mother's memorial service in 2014. My thoughts go out to his brother Joe, my classmate Lynn and everyone else who knew Marty. I am very saddened to hear this news.
