Marty Eugene Edmonds
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marty Eugene Edmonds, of Grand Rivers, KY on Friday, July 26, 2024.
In the 68 years that Marty lived, he was so many things to so many people. He was a son, a brother, a husband, an uncle, a friend, and a hero. Marty truly had a heart of gold, always looking out for others, always lending a helping hand, and always ready for a hug. Marty did not live for his own happiness, but for the happiness of others. Marty's unbounded love transformed the lives of everyone he encountered with his remarkable ability to connect with people, share himself, and make a friend wherever he went.
Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Velma Edmonds.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pam Edmonds. His brother, Tim Edmonds (and Cindy) of Fort Wayne Indiana, his sister Myra Clark (and George) of Springville, TN, sister-in-law, Debbie Luffman (and Bobby) of Grand Rivers, KY, brother-in-law, Gary Blaine (and Elaine) and their children, Miranda and Jeff Crump of Nolensville, TN.
Marty's greatest joys were his nieces and nephews; he leaves behind Rebekah Clark (Caleb Franklin) of Murray, Jacob Clark of Louisville, Jeff & Amanda Luffman of Murray, Crystal Settle of Murray, Brad Erwin of Murray, and Nathanial Luffman of Florida. Great Nieces & Nephews; Kinsley & Andrew Syester, Kye Luffman (Hayley McKinney), Ty Williams, Cade Luffman, Raegan Settle, Aubrey Settle, Brinn Erwin, and Jemma Crump.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with Troy Newcomb officiating.
