Martin Joseph "Marty" Fabiszewski, age 72, of St. Augustine, passed away on May 30, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Marty was born on September 3, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to parents Francis "Frank" and Victoria Edna.Fabiszewski. He lived in Virginia and Delaware and had been a resident of St. Augustine since 2012. He married the love of his life, Cynthia "Vynette" Lowery in las Vegas. He worked as a Landscaper for many years and was a talented musician. Marty was a member of several bands including: the Hurricanes in the 1990's and Bobaloos in the early 2000's He performed in many venues in and around the Atlanta area including the Center Stage Theater. Marty was most known as a dealer of rare and expensive vintage guitars which he sold to customers all around the world. He traveled extensively to faraway places that included Morocco and France. He was a devout catholic and attended the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. More than anything he was a devoted husband to Cynthia, and good friend to many and he will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Joan. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lowery of St. Augustine; his mother, Victoria and his brother, Frank.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with Father Ignatius Yeruva officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5 to 6 on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home, with a Vigil service at 6 pm.
