Marva Lynne Morgan Richardson Pulsipher passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, returning home after a lifetime of service, laughter, and love. She was born August 30, 1943 in Beaver, Utah on a small farm outside of town.
Marva Lynne and her first husband, Michael Brent Richardson married January 4, 1965. They were blessed with two children: Troy and Kimberly.
Later in life, she married Leonard Earl Pulsipher. They were sealed in the Manti temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As a devoted member of The Church, she had many callings; one of which was facilitating the 12-step addiction recovery program. She supported countless individuals in finding hope and healing through the Savior. Her dedication to recovery extended into her involvement with the Al-Anon family groups, where she provided guidance and comfort to many.
Marva Lynne exemplified hard work and compassion in volunteer work, as well as in her careers. For more than 45 years, she drove school bus for Nebo and Iron County School Districts, along with American Preparatory Academy.
Even after death, she is continuing in her service efforts to help others, by donating her body to medical research through the University of Utah.
Marva Lynne is survived by her 2 children: Michael Troy Richardson (Collette) and Kimberly Marie Young, as well as her brother Garth Morgan (Jean). She also leaves a cherished legacy of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, and one more she'll guide down from heaven in the Spring.
She will be greeted in the spirit world by Leonard Earl Pulsipher (husband), Ray Robinson and Lela Marie Morgan (parents), Phyllis Morgan (sister), as well as Allyson Marie Richardson and Westin R Christensen (grandchildren).
Marva Lynne’s life was full of faith, love and dedication to serving others; she will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched.
We would like to recognize and thank the amazing staff at Spring Gardens in Mapleton, along with ICARE Home Health and Hospice for the phenomenal love, dedication and friendship they freely gave Marva Lynne, as well as the members of her church branch that supported and cared for her so dearly.
A Funeral will be held in Marva Lynne’s honor on October 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM. It will be held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1068 S 1600 W Mapleton, Utah. A burial service will be held at a later date.
