Marvin Carroll Allen, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on May 12, 1954, Marvin dedicated his life not only to his career as a mechanic with All Crane Rental, but also to cherishing time with his family and pursuing his passions.
He was the devoted husband to Christine Canup Allen. The deep bond they shared was evident in the love and support they provided for one another throughout their lives. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Christine, children, Amanda Rainwater, Mary Ann Allen, Amanda Lewis-Powell and Daniel Allen, stepchildren, Paul Howard and Tracy Howard, 9 grandchildren and one great grandson. Sister, Arlene Reece and Frances O'Sheilds, several nephews, and a niece.
Preceding him in death were his parents Marvin Carroll Allen, Sr. and Mary Louise Shaw Allen, and siblings Joan Echols and George Allen.
Services will be held on Monday September 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mableton, Ga.
The family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday September 7, 2025, from 2:00PM until 5:00PM.
