Marvin F. Berberich, age 86, of Trenton, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon. He was born June 16, 1939, in Mascoutah TWP, the son of the late Matthew and Estella (nee Koebel) Berberich. Marvin married Lida, nee Wolf, Berberich on October 24, 1964, at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton and she preceded him in death on June 22, 2019.

In addition to his parents and wife, Marvin was preceded in death by siblings, Bobby (Rosemary) Berberich, Pearl Berberich, Kay Berberich (infancy), David Berberich, Donald Berberich, and Allen (Arlene) Berberich; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Amelia (nee Poos) Wolf; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vernon (Iona) Wolf, Anita (George) Sutherland, and Shirleen (Tom) Kimber.

Marvin is survived by his sons, Ron (Darlene) Berberich of Trenton and Scott (Rebecca) Berberich of Troy; grandchildren, Brian (Kim Keeler) and Philip Berberich, and Alyssa and Clayton Berberich; a great-grandson, Lawson Berberich; sisters-in-law, Donna Berberich of Lebanon and Pam Berberich of New Baden; and nieces and nephews.

Marvin retired from the Trenton Co-Op after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton. In his free time, Marvin found great joy in gardening, camping, and sharing stories with family and friends; his humor and warmth leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
