Marvin Lyle Buffi, born on February 20, 1947, in American Falls, Idaho, passed away on December 19, 2025, in Fruitland, Idaho. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.

Marvin led a life defined by his unwavering dedication and service. He dedicated twenty years to the United States Navy, honorably discharging in 1988. His military service stands as a proud testament to his character, embodying the principles of discipline and commitment he held dear. In his retirement, Marvin shifted his focus to giving back to fellow veterans, devoting his time to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), where he continued to advocate for those who served.

He graduated from Aberdeen High School on May 27, 1965, an achievement that marked the beginning of a life filled with purpose. While generally reserved and someone who appreciated order, Marvin transformed into a vibrant and humorous presence when surrounded by his grandchildren. His playful nature and desire to ignite laughter made him not just a grandfather, but a joyful storyteller, recalling fond memories from his military days and childhood, which captivated his family for countless hours.

Marvin had a profound love for the outdoors, often retreating into nature for solace and adventure. He also enjoyed playing video games, a pastime that brought him both joy and connection with his family.

Marvin is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Buffi; his children Terry, Greg, Jody, Michael and Melissa; his 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren and his brothers Glen, Max, and Zane Buffi. Each of them holds dear the precious moments shared with him, reflecting on his loving spirit and support through the years.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Eddy Boehlke, Greg, and Gary Buffi, as well as his parents, George Guy Buffi and Pearl Rose Buffi. Their memories linger on in the hearts of those who continue to cherish Marvin’s enduring legacy.
