He went on to marry Carlotta May for five years and then Lois Patton, with whom he spent 11 years from 1982 until 1993. Despite their divorce, Butch maintained friendships with Lois, who remained an important part of his life.
Butch is survived by his son, Jamie Conley, and his daughter, Ginger (Rick) Van Pelt, both of Creston. He was a loving grandfather to Parker Van Pelt. He also leaves behind his companion, Lois Patton of Corning, Iowa; his sister, Donna Conley; and his nephew, Branden Conley, all of Creston, along with a host of other relatives and friends who cherished him.
