Marvin Cooper, 62, of Monroe County, passed away at his home on August 22, 2025. He was born on August 5, 1963, in Monroe County to the late Thomas and Vada Gray Cooper.Marvin loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, who were the joy of his life. He enjoyed being on his tractor and tending to his cattle. He was raised in the Pentecostal faith and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Marvin is survived by his daughters; Sabrina Cooper, Fulton, Candace Ledbetter, Aberdeen, Brothers; Jeff Dodd, Gennie Dodd, Sisters, Ruby Smith, Ella Mae Dodd, Emma Jean and Floria; Grandchildren; Alex Cooper, Trent Cooper, Kaylee Cooper, Hayden Cooper, Brayden Cooper, Noah Cooper, Haven Cooper, and Jaxon Paepke, Great Grandchild, Everleigh Jade Cooper, a host of nieces and nephews and Special Friends,  Patricia Frederick, Larry Porter and Clarence Chandler.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Marvin Earl Cooper, Jr. and Brothers Howard and Jimmy Dodd.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday August 27, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Cleveland Moffett Funeral home with visitation from noon until the service hour.
