Marvin Hare Obituary
Marvin was a dedicated man who owned and operated his own carpet installation business for many years. He took great pride in his work and in providing for his family. Outside of work, he was a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his sense of humor, always joking and quick with a smart remark for just about everything. His laughter and wit brought joy to those around him and will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by Shelly (Kevin) Sersch, children Amanda Hare (Trevor), Jaime Hare (Moriah), Austin Sersch (Jessalyn), son in law Justin Lockhart, four grandchildren Aiden, Jordan, Avriana, and Alizabeth, his brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his memory and the love he gave so freely.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Delia Hare of Arkansas, siblings, and his daughters, Jennifer Lynn and Sarah Elizabeth.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Unity Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided.
A celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined, and guests are encouraged to wear purple in honor of Marvin.
