Marvin Mobbs Obituary
Mr. Mobbs was born January 21, 1962, in Rome, GA, son of the late Richard Edward Mobbs and Josie Florance Battles Mobbs. He was Baptist by faith. Mr. Mobbs was retired from Mount Vernon Mills and worked as a self-employed carpenter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jackie Mobbs and Jimmy Mobbs.
Survivors include his children, Bud Mobbs, Ben Mobbs, Cody Mobbs, Natalie Mobbs, and Chasity Daugherty; step-daughter, Mandy Lea; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and special friends, Butch Scott, Johnny Tidmore, Lamar Pledger, and Randy Green.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. (GA Time) Friday, June 14, 2024, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Collins officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later time at Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at Mason Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. (GA Time) until the hour of service on Friday.
