Funeral service for Marvin Best Nuby Jr. age 70 of Madison will be Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 3:00pm at New Center Baptist Church with Brother Ben Bates, Jimmy Henderson and Geoff Halbrooks officiating with burial in the Cedar Creek Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time on Thursday at the Church.
Mr. Nuby, who was born April 9, 1953, in Decatur, Alabama to Marvin Best Nuby Sr. and Elsie Lucille Maples Nuby, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Regency Health and Rehabilitation in Huntsville.
Marvin was a faithful member of New Center Baptist Church, loved genealogy, enjoyed collecting vinyl records and singing Karaoke. He was a 1972 graduate of Falkville High school and hosted the Class of 72 Facebook page and was a member of the Cedar Creek Cemetery committee.
Marvin retired after 37 years of service as a Computer Programmer working for Future Research Corporation and 22nd Century Technology. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, J.C. Nuby.

The Brotherhood of New Center Baptist Church will serve as Pallbearers
Von Yeager, Robert Hopper, Dale McMinemon, Randy Whitten, Felton Hanners, Geoff Halbrooks, Chuck Ray and Vince Lamberti will serve as Honorary Pallbearers
In Lieu of flowers, please make Memorials to the New Center Baptist Church "Building Fund" or to the Cedar Creek Cemetery Fund.
