Marvin Ogle Obituary
Sonny was born on June 6, 1947, in Maryville, TN to the late Mr. Marvin Ogle Sr. and Ms. Elizabeth Robinson Rachels.
Sonny faithfully served his country in the United States Army, before being honorably discharged. Sonny is described as a patriotic, family man who spent his life serving others. Along with his late wife of 32 years Sherry Ogle they were heavily involved with the Special Olympics serving multiple roles over the many years of volunteering. Sonny was an avid sports fan he was a great spectator as well as a great coach for his sons. Sonny especially enjoyed his time helping the Special Olympics sailing team.
In addition to his wife and parents, Sonny is predeceased by his brothers, Thom Rachels and Steve Rachels.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Trey (Rhonda) Ogle, Michael Ogle; 2 grandchildren, and many lifelong friends.

For years I tried to find my cousin, Sonny, who I had fond. Memories of playing with him when we were children. Only to see he has passed away. Sorry Sonny. I hope to see you again as we praise Jesus in New Jerusalem!
