Marvin Solano, a cherished husband, devoted father, and a great friend to many, passed away on March 19, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 54. Born on November 23, 1970, in Tanay Rizal, Philippines, Marvin was a man who embraced life with passion and commitment. His dedication as a welder for Brown and Root was a testament to his hard work and unwavering determination to provide for his family.
Marvin's life was marked by his love for basketball, a hobby that allowed him to foster connections and share joyful moments with friends and family. He was a figure of strength and dependability, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer support to those in need. His kindness and generosity endeared him to everyone he met, establishing him as a well-respected and beloved member of his community.
Marvin is survived by his beloved wife, Merilyn Hulgan, and their son, Justine Solano. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Melanie Solano and Pamela, along with her husband, Michael Magwili, as well as his brother, Roy Solano, and his wife, Joyce. The family legacy continues through his cherished nieces and nephews: Sidlaine and her husband Ern, Miko and Vince, Elisha Joy, Ezekiel Joy, and Elijah Royce.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Estelita and Pedro Solano, whose love and guidance shaped the man Marvin became.
The memory of Marvin Solano will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him for his unwavering love, hard work, and the joy he brought into their lives. A visitation will be held on March 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627.
