Marvin F. VanBrande, 54 of Bellaire died October 2, 2023.  He was born December 13, 1968 in Yale, the son of Marvin VanBrande and Lois Dowling.

 

   Marvin enjoyed working on cars and many things mechanical.  He was a collector of many things, just like his mother, and he enjoyed helping people in need.  Most of all Marvin enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  They were his pride and joy.

 

   Surviving is his son Marvin Jr. (Destiny) VanBrande of Central Lake, father Marvin (Sandy) VanBrande of Brown City, siblings Angie (Steve Bacon) VanBrande of Bellaire, Valerie (Charles) Apsey of Columbiaville, Michael Hilgendorf of Central Lake, Brent (Miranda) VanBrande of Willis, TX, special friend Kim Rupright of Bellaire, grandchildren Marvin III, Davanee, Macie, Wyatt, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother Lois and great nephew Payton Dennis.

 

   The family will receive friends Friday, October 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions can be given to the family.
