September 30, 1941 – October 21, 2025
Marvin Douglas "Doug" Wiley, age 84, of Wayland, KY, husband of Judy Fay Blair Wiley, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the University of Louisville Medical Center in Louisville, KY. He was born on September 30, 1941, in Paintsville, KY, a son of the late Roy Richard and Audrey Slone Wiley. Doug was a skilled carpenter for over 50 years and a proud member of the Ohio Carpenters Union.
In addition to his beloved wife, Judy, he is survived by his son, Darrin Gene Wiley of Somerset, KY; two daughters, Faye Douglas Wiley Wright and Kimberly Ann (C.V.) Reynolds, both of Prestonsburg, KY; seven grandchildren: Kayla Nicole (Andy) Meister, Ariel Dawn (Billy) Black, Austin Blake Wiley, Arrington Jade Wright, Morgan Blair Wiley, Chelsea Victoria Reynolds, and Chloe Reynolds-Collins (Gunner); and three great-grandchildren: Aiden, Noah, and Avery Meister.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roy "Birdie" Wiley and Rodney "Rod" Wiley; sister, Brenda Joyce Owsley; grandson, Joshua Shawn "Our Little Buddy" Francis; and son-in-law, Bruce Edward Wright.
Hall Funeral Home Chapel in Martin, Kentucky
Visitation: Friday, October 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home
Funeral Services: Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM (welcome to visit prior to service, 10 AM – 1:00 PM) in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel in Martin, KY, with Dwayne Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY.
