Mary Jane Abramowicz

Mary Jane Abramowicz, age 85 of Howell, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 12, 2025, in Howell, Michigan. She was born on July 4, 1939, in Farmington, Michigan, the daughter of William and Martina (Stapley) Frazer. She married Gerald Abramowicz on April 27, 1957.
Mary Jane dedicated over fifteen years of her life as a dietary aid at Brighton Hospital, where her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to others' well-being left an indelible mark on both colleagues and patients. Her commitment to her work was second only to her devotion to her family, a source of endless pride and joy.
In her leisure, Mary Jane found solace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She was often found sitting on her front porch, where she would bask in the tranquility of nature and the bustling sounds of the neighborhood. Family was the cornerstone of her existence; car rides to explore and get out of the house were not just about the destinations but the laughter and stories shared along the way. Camping trips were cherished family rituals, where bonds were strengthened, and memories were forged under the canopy of stars.
Mary Jane's love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life, the recipients of her boundless love and care. Her gentle guidance and supportive presence were a constant source of comfort and inspiration for her family. Her affection extended to her canine companions as well, particularly her beloved Rottweilers, Raven and Miley, who were her faithful friends and protectors. Their loyalty and companionship brought immense joy to her heart and home.
Mary is survived by her children, Cheryl Lynch, Matt (Jacky) Abramowicz, Tammy (Randy) Tatum, Keith Abramowicz, Mitch Abramowicz; grandchildren, Janie, Jessie, Corey, Justin, Josh, Daina, Kevin, Jacob, Alex; great-grandchildren, Jaylyn, Vanessa, Savanah, Vann, Mylee, Taylor, Amaya, Jaser; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Abramowicz; sons, Mark Abramowicz and Michael Abramowicz; parents, William and Martina Frazer; and her 9 siblings.
A visitation for Mary will be held 2PM-4PM Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, MacDonald Chapel, 315 N. Michigan Ave, Howell with a funeral service to follow at 4PM.
Memorial contributions in Mary's honor may be made to Shriners Hospital.
