Mrs. Anderson was probably my favorite teacher in grade school. In fourth grade we learned a lot about Russia which got me fascinated by the country (if I recall, she visited there?), and a project she assigned on Mesopotamia (I think all kids got different countries) kicked off my lifelong love of ancient history. Not many people can say that kind of thing about a fourth grade teacher - what an impact! She will be greatly missed.
