After they graduated, Billy joined the Baytown City Police Force and Mary stayed home raising their children. She loved baking and crafting.

She loved her grandchildren but we know she really loved her great grandchildren proven by her never-ending back scratches. She was known by many as GG and will always be remembered by her humor and blunt comments.
