Mary H. (Turner) Bailey was born January 29, 1938, to the late Mingo and Virtie (McClain) Turner in Henderson County Kentucky. She departed this life peacefully surrounded by family on February 3, 2024. Mary was a strong pillar and led by example which has trended down generations of her loving family. Her presence, guidance, and everlasting love were known and felt by everyone, especially her grandchildren!
She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age of 10 years old at Norris Chapel Baptist Church in Henderson, Kentucky. In her adult life, she then joined Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a faithful servant for 65 years. Mary served the Lord in many areas of the church. She was a past member of the church choir, usher board, circle of faith, diligent Sunday school attendee, former Sunday School secretary, as well as a fill-in teacher. Not only by her words but proven by her actions, it was clear that she was a true servant who loved God. She fought a good fight and departed this life with a job well done!
