Mary Bischak, 96, of Clifton, passed away on May 8, 2024. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, she came to the US in 1952 and settled in Clifton. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Mary was a member of the Golden Circle and the Athenia Veterans Post Ladies Auxiliary, all of Clifton. Before retiring in 1994, Mary worked in the cafeteria at George Washington Middle School in Wayne for many years. Mary had also worked as a waitress for the Red Chimney on Rt. 3, and Mama Bellini's in Clifton.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Bischak who passed away in 1980, and her companion Daniel Achremczik who passed away in 2020. Devoted mother of Linda Viloria and her husband Jose of Voorhees. Loving grandmother of Jessica Viloria and her partner Rey Santos, and Eric Viloria and his wife Lauren. Cherished great grandmother of Margot Viloria.
Dear sister of Ann Eagle and her husband Carl of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and the late Stanley Zeppa and his wife Anne, Helen Dumanski and her husband Mike, Stella Clulow and her husband Randy, Jenny Alexander and her husband Dale, Mildred Pagnucco and her husband Frank, Joseph Zeppa and his wife Sophie, and Kazik Zeppa.
Visiting Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 9:30-11:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Tuesday, 12 Noon at St. John Kanty RC Church. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, www.SamaritanNJ.org, would be greatly appreciated.
