After 95 years of life on this Earth, Mother Mary Lee Blake peacefully transitioned on
August 4, 2023, in Chiefland, FL. She gained her eternal wings and joined her husband,
the late Malon Blake Sr.

Mother Blake was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge #607, The Red Hat Society, and
also served as an advocate in assisting other by transporting her community to the poles
to vote in various elections.

Mother Mary Lee Blake leaves to cherish her memory: Childrens: Martha L. Hunter,
Malon Blake Jr., (Gertrude) all of Chiefland, FL. Patricia Blake-Barber, Annice Blake,
Michael Anthony Blake (Felicia) all of Clearwater, FL., Cynthia Annette Blake of
Tampa, FL.Adopted Children: Letitica Price (Bobby), Carniece Bower (Guierrica),
Fred London (Crystal) all of Chiefland, FL. Raised as Her Own: Latosha Timmons, Lacy
Anderson (Cassandra), thirty-three Grandchildren, thirty-three Great Grandchildren,
twelve Great-Great Grandchildren, Brother: James Oliver Johnson of Chiefland, FL,
Sister: Helen Johnson of Chiefland, FL. Brother-in-law: Julius Blake of Chiefland FL,
Sister-in-law: Mary Elizabeth Lewis of Gainesville, FL. Godchildren; Jonathan Flanders
of Atlanta, Ga., Freddie Bowers, Memphis, TN, Daphnia C. Williams (Alphonso) of
Gainesville, FL, William Grant, Sr. (Ginger) Sallie Ann of Chiefland, Florida and Pastor Demetrius Brown (Patricia), all
of Clearwater, FL. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.

Mother Blake preceded in death by her late husband Mr. Malon Blake Sr., Father Mr.
Oliver Johnson, and Mother Clora Johnson, two Brothers Lewis Johnson and Wesley
Johnson. Six Sisters Mable White, Willie Mae Johnson, Teresa Buie, Shirley Johnson,
Lorine Norris, and Florine Johnson,
