Mary Etta Bledsoe, age 75, of Gray, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Mary was a beacon of compassion, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Her dedicated and loving nature was evident to all who knew her. Her loyalty was unparalleled, especially when it came to her family—her pride and joy. The cherished moments she spent with her beloved grandchildren will forever be etched in our hearts.
For over 30 years, Mary was a devoted member of the First Pentecostal Church, where she found solace and strength. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and decisions. Her radiant smile, warm hugs, and unwavering faith will be dearly missed, but her memories will continue to inspire and guide us.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Bledsoe; and one granddaughter, Tanya Richelle Fox.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Wagers; stepdaughter, Linda Carroll (Jamie); stepson, John Richie Bledsoe all of Corbin; eight grandchildren, Jordan Bledsoe, Josie Bledsoe, Jarrod Bledsoe, Jacob Bledsoe, Aaron Jackson, Allen Bledsoe, Kristen Bledsoe, and Bella Perali; and 6 great grandchildren, Jordyn, Cali, Zoey, Miley, Andie Lynn, and A.J.
Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Pastor Johnny Farmer officiating.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Corbin, KY, with her stepson and grandsons serving as pallbearers.
