Mary Blind Obituary
Allouez Township – Mary J. Blind, age 88, of Allouez Township, Michigan, passed away on August 15, 2025 in Naples, Florida.
She was born on April 6, 1937, in Eagle River, Michigan, the daughter of Harrison and Veronica Bammert. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Alfred T. Blind. She is survived by her daughters Laura of Florida and Kristin of Texas, and her son Kevin (Rachel) of Orchard Lake, MI. Also surviving are grandchildren William, Brooke, Ryan, and Grant, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Mary was known for her love of sewing and quilting, creating countless memorable pieces that her family and friends will forever treasure. She had a witty sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to those around her. Her life was filled with love, kindness, and generosity. She cherished her summers at her home in Allouez, Michigan, and her winters spent with her daughters in Texas and Florida.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Calumet, MI with Rev. Fr. Gracious Pulimoottil to officiate. Mary will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Alfred. Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.
